Cityscapes - Orginals

In February I was lucky enough to have a once in a lifetime visit to New York. To say I found in inspiring would be an understatement! I found it to be such a magical city and wanted to do my upmost to pay homage to the trip. 

Having not painted anything of the sort before I was worried I wouldn't be able to capture what was on my mind. However with abstracts the less you know the better really! It allows you to relax and play with out any idea of the outcome. 

Gratefully this collection has become the catalyst to a whole new style of works as it lead me to experimenting with textures and layering like id never done before, I owe so much to this trip as it allowed me to connect with my audience on a deeper level too!
