Caravaca - Originals

After a recent trip to South-eastern Spain to visit family I was itching to paint my experience! The sites were unbelievable and so untouched! We toured natural springs and nature reserves which all played their part in the colours and textures used in these pieces. The mountains, rural towns and springs were truly some of the most breath-taking views I'd ever seen. 

Using the knowledge I'd acquired from my collection 'Where the crawdads sings' I was able to draw inspiration from the landscape feel and let it guide me towards putting my experience of Spain into these artworks.
