Hey, hopefully I have covered some popular questions, but if not please feel free to get in touch! x

What is the lead time for artwork?

Fine Art Print : Prints are certainly one of the quickest options to choose when looking for artworks! As each piece is printed to your size requirements and if opted for hand embellished. Once dry prints will then be carefully packaged up in acid free tissue paper and certification. I aim to work towards 2-3 weeks to dispatch. I typically use Royal mail tracked delivery unless outside of the UK in which case Courier may very. Tracking will be provided so that you can keep tabs on you exciting parcel!

Original Art on Canvas (an already painted piece)

Creating pieces and collections that are on my mind when inspiration strikes has been a pivotal part of my journey, I can not help but put paint to canvas when my mind is buzzing with ideas. This means I aim have a small collection of original pieces readily available to purchase.

Whilst they are readily available they do require a small lead time to allow for framing. This is because the frame is made to order in your choice of finish and then fitted professionally in house, with hanging fixtures for your ease. This typically takes 2-4 weeks.

Original Art on Canvas (if commissioned) : Original artworks on canvas take a longer by nature due to the fact it a journey from start to finish from scratch.. varying depending on scale and the amount of layering required. As a general rule of thumb I aim to work towards 9-12 weeks, however when discussing your commission I will inform you if I feel a particular piece may take a little longer or if I'm running ahead it may be earlier. Once completed and approved the frame will be professionally fitted in house. Having a hand made frame built and fitted takes an additional 2 weeks (approx.) to the completion time. Naturally any amendments may adjust lead time but ill always prioritise those where I can!

If you have any questions at all please do get in touch!

What is the difference between a commission, an print and an original?

Original art is art that was created by the artist, by hand. It's a one-of-a-kind.

A print is a high-quality image reproduction of an original artwork, that is then printed onto a new material like paper or canvas . Art prints allow people to own and enjoy a copy of an artwork that may not be accessible or affordable in its original form.

Commissioning art is the process of hiring an artist to create an original piece/pieces of artwork, based on certain requests. There are many reasons why people commission artworks. Sometimes, the piece you really like is too large or small, even wrong in colour. In that case, a client is likely to request an alternative size or palette version of a piece of art previously created by the artist.

Can you frame my artwork or advise on frames :

Fine Art Prints : I don't unfortunately supply frames for artwork on paper as framing can be such a personal choice in terms of mount size, colour, material. I do however have a 'Frame guide' tab where I link all the frames used in my images so that you can easily recreate the look as pictured, please head to 'My frame guide' where you will find all the info needed.

Canvases : Adding a frame to a canvas is a great way to finish a piece and also add significant value to the artwork. If selected I have a frame professionally made upon completion of the artwork as per your chosen colour and style requirements. We can discuss this further via the 'Lets Talk' tab.

Can you advise on sizing;

When choosing a size I highly recommend measuring the chosen space. All measurements for paper pieces can be found on 'my frame guide' or 'paper size guide'  please do account for the frame size your going to opt for when doing so. All measurements for canvases are listed under each design.

One trick that some clients find really helpful is to cut old lining paper or wrapping paper into the size you are considering, then blue tac this into the space and live with it for a few hours or a day to see how the size feels in your space. That's one of the exciting parts!

The Size I'm after isn't available?

Fine Art Print : I work on Standard International Paper Sizing which is A3 - A1, the Measurements can be found on either 'My frame guide' or 'paper size guide' but if you have a frame that you love and my paper sizing is not suitable please do get in touch as I may be able to trim them slightly to fit your frame or size requirement.

Canvases: I list popular canvas sizes for ease and because sometimes to much sizing choice can be overwhelming but if you do have a size in mind that I do not show please do get in touch for a personalised quote and to see if I can source it for you!

Can my artwork be painted in my colour scheme?

Canvases: Yes If I am able to take on your commission, it can be painted specifically to your requirements. If you have fabric swatches or paint colours you would like me to work with this can be discussed also. For further details on the commissioning progress please head to the 'Commission Tab' Where I hope I can begin your new art journey!

Fine Art Print : Unfortunately due to the nature of print, It can not be amended but can be embellished which can alter the look to suit, please get in touch to discuss.
